50 Word Thursdays # 22

Ed and Janie packed up the wagon and headed to the beach. Today promised to be a good day for them. Bright sun, not a cloud in the sky, and high temperatures. They’d make a killing at the beach selling his wares. If…

They parked the wagon just off the walkway to the beach and set up shop. Janie sold their wares and Ed, he has his own skills.

The beach filled quickly, and Janie went to work. Sunscreen and towels were popular along with the snacks.

The never stayed in any place for long. They couldn’t take that chance. A few hours later, Ed returned, and they packed up the wagon. Time to move on.

They left the beach and headed to their current hideout. Ed dumped the morning’s haul onto the ground and they went through it, keeping the cash and jewelry. Today’s haul was a one.
