Penny stared at the pictures of Castle Berkshire in her grandfather’s
photo album. He’d grown up near the castle and stayed there a few times before
coming to America. He described the charm and elegance of the rooms and always said
he wanted to go back and take Penny with him.
He died before he realized that dream. But Penny was
determined to make the trip—for both of them. What’s another credit card charge.
So she booked the cheapest room possible.
The castle was more beautiful than the pictures. And her
room was perfect. Grandfather would have loved it.
